Founded in 1989, Trahan Construction quickly became a respected contractor with regional reach throughout the Gulf Coast area. The goal was to create more than buildings and facilities, but to create personal relationships and partnerships that would last generations. The core business philosophy lives on through clients who have trusted Trahan Construction for nearly three decades.

Roxanne is honored to be part of the team that diligently works together at Trahan Construction. She believes that everyone at Trahan Construction brings a special, one-of-a-kind attribute to the table and the team shares a common goal: to provide Trahan Construction customers with excellent service while being upfront and honest. Roxanne appreciates working in the relaxed environment at Trahan Construction with dedicated and goal-oriented team members.

Roxanne attended Louisiana State University at Eunice, McNeese State University and Northwestern State University. She serves on the board of directors for the Jeff Davis Parish Chamber of Commerce and volunteers as a band booster mom. She is also certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). The WBENC is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned, controlled, and operated by women in the United States.

Roxanne is married to Trahan Construction President, Troy Trahan. They have four children, Lauren, Kade, Christian and Hannah, who are their world! Any time they are able to spend together as a family is very valuable. Roxanne enjoys when her family gets together to watch movies, try their luck at bowling, and sitting around the dinner table to talk and enjoy one another’s company. This quote by Michael J. Fox says it all for Roxanne, “Family is not an important thing. It’s everything.” Roxanne’s hobbies include, reading, shopping and playing golf with Troy.

Troy is carrying on a family tradition of construction built on character and integrity. This means more to him than the materialistic rewards. Knowing that Trahan Construction customers have experienced the construction process in a personal and more favorable light gives him great pleasure and peace of mind. The teamwork and amount of trust each employee has for their coworkers and the overall light-hearted atmosphere we strive to keep in a stressful environment, is one of Troy’s favorite things about Trahan Construction.

Actively giving back to the community is very important to Troy, it is a cornerstone of his character. He previously served as a board member for TEAM LA, serving as chairman of the Lake Arthur Regatta Festival, a member of the Lake Arthur Varsity Club, Southwest Chamber / Economic Development Alliance, and the Lake Arthur Merchants Association. He is also a past President of the Jennings Lions Club, was a 5-year board member of the Jeff Davis Chamber of Commerce, a past board member of Fusion 5 Young Professionals Organization and SOWELA Foundation Board, and former captain of the Lake Arthur Volunteer Fire Department. Troy attended Louisiana State University.

Troy and his wife, Roxanne, CEO and Managing Member of Trahan Construction, have four children, Lauren, Kade, Christian and Hannah. The couple enjoys supporting and watching their children “perform” in whatever they choose to do. They also enjoy having the entire family over for great food, fun and fellowship while making memories that last a lifetime. In his free time, Troy enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, cooking, being with his family, networking, and mentoring.

Kade Trahan

Kade is a third-generation of the Trahan Construction family. It means a lot to him to be a part of a company that started with his grandfather, and continues today with his father. He is humbled to have been given the opportunity to learn the strong values and ethics proposed by his grandfather over 25 years ago.

Kade graduated from McNeese State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He was an active member and officer of both Kappa Sigma Fraternity and Delta Sigma Pi, and served as the treasurer of the McNeese State University Investment Team. He is a member of Fusion Five Young Professionals Organization. He enjoys networking, hunting, fishing, cooking, bike riding, exercising, and hanging out with family and friends.

Sammy has many years of experience in account management, including working as a sales associate and loan officer, before becoming the office manager for Trahan Construction. She also completed the Leadership Excel program.

Sammy and her husband, Adam, have one son, Ace. She loves being with her family and enjoys playing softball, hunting, and camping. Sammy previously served as a board member for TEAM LA and was the merchandise co-chair for the Lake Arthur Regatta Festival. She loves working for a company that encourages community involvement and has strong family values.

Jeremy appreciates being part of a local, family-owned business that trust its employees abilities and allows them the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. Jeremy enjoys being part of the great team at Trahan Construction that has such strong family values.

He and his wife, Jessica, have two children, Charlie and Laikyn. He enjoys spending time with his family, whether it’s just relaxing and hanging out or fishing together. Jeremy also enjoys hunting.

Milo Correa

Project Manager & Estimator

Working at Trahan Construction helps Milo grow as a person and as a professional. It provides him an opportunity to apply his knowledge in the fields of Civil Engineering and Engineering Managing that allows him to expand his critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as utilizing his analytical and interpersonal skills.

Milo is a bilingual civil engineer and has several years of experience in construction as project manager. He graduated from McNeese State University with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Engineering Management. He was a chairman of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Milo is a board member of the Louisiana Latin Club. He also works with international students at McNeese State University. In his free time, Milo enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures (and their food), playing and watching soccer, reading, dancing, singing and playing the guitar.
